Does Safely provide prescriptions if I have a positive result?

Depending on the specific infection, a Safely provider may be able to treat you or they may need to refer you to nearby clinic or provider. If any of your tests results come back positive, a Safely provider will call you directly to speak to you (before your results show up in the app).

In most cases, a Safely provider will be able to call in any prescription to the pharmacy of your choosing.

Note: that you will either need to pay out of pocket or use your insurance to cover the cost of your prescription, your testing cost does not include any prescription expenses.

We know this can seem scary, but remember that many STDs are curable, and they are all treatable. SAFE has a network of providers and sexual health experts across the country who will provide counseling, answer any questions you may have, and refer you to trusted health care providers for treatment.
